A school of Darwin Fish

How often do we see the christian fish symbol on a car?  Try asking a christian what it actually means sometimes and you will be surprised to hear that they have a variety of different views about the symbol itself and about the obscure Greek characters sometimes contained within.  In that sense it seems to me to be an accurate representation of the different conflicting views of the various churches that make up the 'diaspora' of christianity.

I must admit that I take much more pleasure from the variants on the simple fish.  Many of them are based around the 'Darwin Fish' . . .

What happens when these meet?  There might be a simple staring match . . .

. . . after all Jesus and Darwin can get on pretty well (as they do in many mainstream churches . . .

. . . or was it a kiss?  . . .

Mislead by a bad influence . . .

. . . things could get more complicated . . .

. . . but it doesn't last and a broken hearted fish . . .

. . .  consults its lawyer . . .

. . . but events move beyond that  . . .

. . . and Darwin is wounded . . .

. . . but  just before . . .

. . . we find that Wallace agreed with Darwin . . .

. . . and helped by the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) who touches Darwin with its noodly appendage . . .

. . . and calls for prehistoric reinforcements . . .

. . . Darwin is revived and looks as though he is winning again . . .

And in the end, science can come to the rescue . . .

. . . and although the myth of Jonah's whale will still seem the most attractive to those who prefer faith to reason . . .

. . . Darwin evolves . . .

. . . and ultimately, deciding it is safer not to mock Mohamed. . .

It's interesting how selection mechanisms can go to work even on inanimate objects. The 'Jesus fish' continue to grow and evolve in response to the 'Darwin fish'. The 'Darwin fish' do the same in response to the 'Jesus fish'.

I love the comment on how the Jesus fish continues to evolve; great observation. I think the Darwin fish grows to either point out the absurdity of the aforementioned or simply fur humor itself (Darwin's fish "f-ing" the Jesus fish.

""I can indeed hardly see how anyone ought to wish Christianity to be true: for if so the plain language of the text seems to show that [those] who do not believe, and this would include my Father, Brother, and almost all my best friends, will be everlastingly punished. And this is a damnable doctrine." -Charles Darwin

are you making fun of our Christianity ?
and for your information we know what that means , it's a symbol that the Christians used to draw , if the person saw it and draw it too it means he's a christian if it didn't mean anything to him so he is not a Christian.

and you said that you don't believe in Jesus, well I believe in him and i will always believe in him,and my country we are all christian people and we do believe in Jesus, and lots of people cured thank to the appearance of saints that the people truly beleived in.Now you wanna say that 3 billion person on this planet are rong ? and that they should not believe in Jesus ? well if it's not true no one of us would believed in him.and also for your information God has never said that the people who don't believe in jesus or in him will live everlastinglu punished, god didn't oblige anyone to belive in him , but he said that if you don't wanna believe in him or in jesus just don't believe in the demon and be good in life.I am not creating anything,I saying the truth it's in the bible. God doesn't punish anyone. (and this is why you don't believe because you know nothing about god and religion, you misunderstood the meaning of them. we are not asking you to belive but you should know about them before you say bad stuff about god and jesus and christian people. And belive in what no one has the right to say bad stuff and create bad stuff about jesus and god because there is something called "RESPECT" . and every persone is free to do whatever she wants but there are limits in this life and we should know them, and you people...just respect eachother. christianity has never done something wrong to you so stop it.it stupid.

I'm very happy for you. What a shame you have to be so angry about it though. I wonder whether there is any country in the world where people ALL believe in the mythical Jesus.

Last time I noticed there were 9 billion people in the world. Were your claimed (and unsubstantiated) 3 billion right and the remaining 6 billion wrong? Whether that is true or not, it would be a logical fallacy to accept it either way. The argument from popularity has no value.

I note the tone of respect in the rest of the verbal diarrhea that you provide. You Christians are SO hostile.
