@CPU Barbeque Maybe ...Excellent stuff. Thank you.

@CPU Barbeque Maybe the games they saw were the newest generation of ultra-realistic 3D rendering. :))Plasma Engineerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02891736950166421184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6615941543485589009.post-13400596143100800412012-02-13T14:57:54.136+00:002012-02-13T14:57:54.136+00:00Here is an interesting adjunct to that...
Recently...Here is an interesting adjunct to that...
Recently the Red Cross (a Christian organisation), put out a ludicrous statement that video gamers were in violation of the Geneva and Hague conventions.
After a (small) public backlash, they clammed up, and now refuse to comment further about it (rather than retracting it).
How it could be in violation of the conventions when there are no victims is a mystery to everyone, but possibly this will not be the last we hear about this nonsense.
http://www.news.com.au/technology/gaming/six-hundred-million-gamers-could-be-war-criminals-red-cross-says/story-e6frfrt9-1226216184190CPU Barbequehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08789597710174634485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6615941543485589009.post-67979819064801692502012-02-10T17:16:04.689+00:002012-02-10T17:16:04.689+00:00An interesting note (to me at least) as a life-lon...An interesting note (to me at least) as a life-long video gamer is that some games are actually attempting to bring an element of morality play to the story. A series of role-playing fantasy games (wizard, warriors, etc) called Fable, Fable 2, Fable 3 all provide you with moral choices throughout. It allows you to play a corrupt character if you'd like, but the characters within the game react differently to you based on your behavior within the game.Kenny Wylandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17129538093718977326noreply@blogger.com
